1998

Andreas Kimmerle was already annoyed by the frequent bending over when strapping pallets in his parents' timber business. As a qualified wood technology engineer, he was looking for solutions.
1999

Invention and patenting of the world's first ChainLance.
2000

The first series model "ErgoPack 300" for composite belts with a roller core diameter of 75mm, driven by a hand crank, appeared on the market.

Andreas Kimmerle founded ErgoPack Deutschland GmbH in 2001.
2002

In 2002, the ErgoPack system turns red and Andreas Kimmerle receives the Inventor Award in Geneva for his extraordinary invention.
2003

Electronics and sealing device complete the ErgoPack system.
2007

ErgoPack grows - garage and cellar rooms are extended with containers in Höchstädt.

In 2010, the company left its founding location in Höchstädt and moved into new offices, warehouses and production areas in Lauingen, just a few kilometres away.
2011

725E - our first bestseller was born.
2012

The production and storage area was expanded by 4,000m².

2014 - The world's first and only system that can strap raised pallets on the move appeared on the market, the ErgoPack Air was born.
2015

1st ErgoPack World Congress in Lauingen. Partners from 22 nations travelled to Lauingen for this event.
2017

Start of construction of the administration building in Lauingen. At the same time, our field sales team covers direct sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

2018 - 2nd ErgoPack World Congress in Mali Lošinj, Croatia. Unforgettable, innovative and revolutionary moments in the marvellous Hotel Bellevue. The ErgoPack X-pert Line was presented.
2019

ErgoPack becomes part of the Lifco Group. We were also pleased to announce the completion of the administration building.

In 2020, ErgoPack Germany receives the Top 100 innovation award for the first time. After 20 successful years in business, founder and inventor Andreas Kimmerle retires.
2021

The ErgoPack X-pert Line Lithium series makes its debut. ErgoStrap USA becomes part of the ErgoPack Group and thus the first subsidiary outside Germany.
2022

Over 100 employees work at the Lauingen and Waukesha (USA) sites. More than 18,000 systems have been manufactured and delivered to over 60 countries.

REthink, REduce, REstrap! The revolutionary ErgoPack RE cements our claim to a more sustainable future in pallet strapping. In 2024, we will rely on reusable hook and loop and lashing straps and completely dispense with plastic straps and stretch film.
